Although the egg has a natural packaging (shell), it is an extremely fragile product and serious losses may occur due to shell damage during use and transportation. The protection of the egg, which is the main nutrient, against shell deformation and maintaining its freshness for a long time is of great importance for the country's economy. There is a need for new simple and inexpensive methods to reduce losses caused by transportation and storage. The preservation of the superior quality of fresh eggs during storage and transportation is only possible by increasing the quality of the ‘viol’, which is the primary packaging of the egg and is used as an egg parcel, which is of critical importance in storage and transportation.
